Many of the World’s largest companies will be reporting earnings during the week of February 3rd – 7th

  • Monday: Tele2, Alphabet Inc. (Google)
  • Tuesday: Intesa Sanpaolo, Ferrari, and Walt Disney
  • Wednesday: BNP Paribas, Svenska Handelsbanken, ABB, Kesko, Outokumpu, and Spotify
  • Thursday: Nordea Bank, Nokia, Total, Twitter, Uber, Unicredit and L’Oreal
  • Friday: Tata Steel, Abbvie, Banca Monte dei Passchi de Sien

Global Trading Strategy: EURO50 20/03/2020

Eurostoxx 50 Index current price at time of writing 3,688, short positions can be technical supported for a move lower towards 3,500 since price is below its 10-day moving average, downside momentum remains with both the 6 and 13 period rate of change indicators below zero.

Current Market Drivers:

  • Slower European Economic Growth during the last months of 2019 adding to downside bias, latest Euro-area GDP data below forecast with Italy and France showing to be the weakest links of the major EU economies
  • Uncertainty about the global economic impact of the China Coronavirus
