Fortissio provides each client with two account options: Professional and Retail.
The Fortissio Professional Account is tailor-made for investors wishing to trade with higher leverage and 0% margin close-out. It is best suited for those with the experience, knowledge and capability to make their own investment decisions and understand the risks involved.
Each client with a Professional Account also accepts to waive some of the protections under the rules of business conduct, including the right to compensation under the Investor Compensation Fund and the right to address a complaint to the Financial Ombudsman.
Clients with Retail Accounts may request to be treated as Professional if relevant criteria are met. Please refer to the Fortissio Client Categorisation policy for detailed information.
You can request a Professional Account through the platform or by filling out our Request Form. A Professional Account Application is available on our website.
